Leaders from the Interprofessional Education Collaborative (IPEC) will provide an overview of current initiatives, describing the Core Competencies review and revision process for participants.  There will also be an opportunity to provide feedback and ask questions of the presenters.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
  • Describe the background and history of the Interprofessional Education Collaborative (IPEC) and the Core Competencies for Interprofessional Collaborative Practice
  • Share critical information around current IPEC projects
    • Describe the methodology and findings of IPEC’s scoping review
    • Summarize the development and validation of the IPEC Institutional Assessment Instrument
    • Summarize the rationale for and process of revising the IPEC Core Competencies
  • Gather comments, reactions, questions, and guidance for IPEC’s key initiatives
